For those of you who do not know the story, Laela (8) has had a large mass on her neck that has increased in size significantly. After many tests, it was believed to be benign and it was a gruesome wait to finally get to surgery to have it removed. On June 23rd the surgery was scheduled for Laela and it was clear right away that she has cancer. June 24th she was sent home to await pathology, and a few hours later was sent back to the hospital to have more in depth testing and to get chemo started. They are confident they know what she is battling at this point, but are still awaiting final confirmation. Laela will be inpatient for several weeks, at least. Chad and Megan are needing to be with her. Right now we know they will need help with meals, gas, medical expenses, and likely time off work for Chad. This is meant to help ease the burden of finances when they have so many other things on their plates. Chad's mother is caring for their 4 other children and we will be posting needs for them soon. They have a personal relationship with the Lord and we ask for continued prayers for this dear family.
