Help the Krahenbuhls: Emberly's Cancer Fight
Donation protected
In March, Jada and Bryan received a phone call from the doctor that turned their lives upside down. They were told that their 4-year-old daughter Emberly had cancer and immediately needed to get her into the UW children's hospital for treatment. Emberly was hospitalized for the first week of treatment due to high fever, but thankfully, the fever subsided, and the family was able to come home and not stay at the hospital the entire 30 days like they thought. Emberly, as of April 9th, has received her fourth chemotherapy treatment with a long road to recovery ahead.
With B CELL ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA, Emberly will be receiving chemotherapy treatments ONCE a WEEK for a minimum of NINE MONTHS, followed by an additional ONCE a MONTH treatment for the next TWO YEARS.
Bryan(Emberly's father) was diagnosed with stage 3b rectal cancer in the summer of 2021. He underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and two surgeries and has been in complete remission since mid-2022 but still needs to go every six months for scans, blood work, and checkups.
The Krahenbuhl family has fought cancer once on their own, but now it's time for us to help ease the fight as a community. The family has been involved with organizing many fundraising activities for others in the area, and although it is difficult to be the recipient of the help now, it is well deserved and of the utmost importance to help if you can.
The Argyle/Blackhawk softball team will be holding a fundraiser on May 9th with many items for silent auction. If you are unable to attend this event and would like to still help the family this gofundme was established to do so.
