Help the Kona Hut find a Home!

Home is where the heart is. For over 20 years, the Kona Hut has been the heart of South O. During the last 16 months, The Hut has carried our community through the pandemic, giving us a normal routine, a safe place to see friends and neighbors and feel the Aloha spirit. Now The Hut needs our help. The building in which it sits has been sold and all of the current tenants have been given eviction notices. The new owner plans to renovate the building and there is no guarantee that the Kona Hut will have a home at this location when the renovations are complete.

None of us want to see this special place disappear. We can’t let a real estate deal do what a global pandemic could not. The Kona Hut must stay in South O!!! Here is where the Kona Hut Family comes in. We need to raise at least $20,000 to help Tammy find the Kona Hut a home. Whether this means buying a coffee cart to serve us during the construction, or equipment and furniture for a remodeled spot in the new building, the costs are going to be big, so our support needs to be big too.
