On October 14th around 6pm Heather and Michael got a call from the neighbors that no one ever wants to get...their house was on fire. Heather was at work, Michael was at football with their son while their daughter was at her dads house. Luckily their amazing neighbors busted in trying to find the dogs, luckily they did save one but unfortunately their dog boomer perished in the fire. They have a long road ahead of them and are going to need help. They are not the type to ever ask for anything but would give the shirt off their back. We are still unsure as to how or where the fire started and are not sure as to whether the house is a total loss, but all they have right now are the clothes on their back. Heather has always been there for me & now it’s my turn to return the favor. I’m calling on the community to come together and at least help them enough to get some clothes to get by for the time being. Usually I would be in a financial place to help, but with the recent passing of my father, I hate to admit it but I just don’t have the funds to help her. While there are resources to help, that process is not an overnight thing, and we have two children not only mourning the loss of their house and dog but also a lot of things that mean the most to a kid.
