Hi! I'm Amber.

My best friend, Karen, her husband Stephen, and their 5 year old MAK need our help!

December 12th started off like any other day. They left to run to Target and grab lunch at around 11am and got back home around 1pm to a flooded house. The washing machine over flowed and never turned off. They are still learning the full extent of the damage. Even with insurance covering most costs of cleaning and repair, they still have to come up with their deductible and whatever else insurance won't cover.

They've lose multiple Christmas gifts and won't be able to spend Christmas or MAK's birthday in their home.

Stephen is an advanced EMT; Karen is a paramedic, former ER Charge Nurse, current L&D Charge Nurse, is in school to get her Nurse Practitioners License. (They both served on the front lines when Covid first reared its ugly head. ) MAK turns 6 just after Christmas and although she understands as much as her little 5 years old self can, she's still trying to navigate her big feelings about the events that unfolded.
