This year I want to band together with anyone who is able to create a Christmas miracle for my best friend. Those who know me know that Shelby has been my right hand woman since I was 11 years old. I could go on and on about all her wonderful traits but let it suffice to say that she is a person of 100% pure character. There isn’t a bad bone in her body. She does so much to serve, love, lead, and bless others. This year it’s our turn to pay forward some of that goodness back to her. Between job changes, pay cuts, a huge move across the country, and infertility treatment bills that never seem to end Shelby told me that this year their would be no funds for Christmas or Logan’s upcoming birthday. Then just last Friday Shelby found Logan unconscious, purple, and not breathing well. She thought he was dead. After 15 minutes the EMT’s were able to help him come to. He is resting, and she is terrified. He is on a waiting list to see a neurologist but will not be able to work until they figure out what’s going on. Jesse and I are saving up to send some Christmas cheer their way, but we realize that they may need a bigger miracle to cover all those medical bills than we can provide alone.
