Help Carlton Kirkpatrick Get A Life Saving Liver Transplant. #teamKirk

Carlton Kirkpatrick, or what his students and players call him “Coach Kirk” is a young 57 years old and married to Leigha. They just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. They have five beautiful children, Torie (31), Nicholas (25), Colin (19), Sophie (16), Christian (14), and two precious grandkids, Jameson (4), and McKenzie (1). Carlton is an awesome father, football & wrestling coach, former teacher, a great friend, extremely bright, hard working, kind, calm, and can fix just about anything. And he is in need of a liver transplant to save his life.

When he was 19 yrs old, Carlton was the victim of a serious accident and, through no fault of his own, spent 4 months in a California hospital and received several blood transfusions. From that tainted blood he contracted Hepatitis C, which lay dormant until now. It has now been discovered, and has given him Cirrhosis of the liver and put him in liver failure. The reality of end-stage liver failure is heartbreaking. Carlton is dealing with an array of serious health issues associated with his condition which, of course, has diminished his quality of life, and he is also unable to work or drive.

Carlton and Leigha have been an integral part of the Las Vegas Real Estate and Lending Community for almost 20 years and have tirelessly given back. It’s now time for us to help them.

Carlton and Leigha met and dated in their early 20s. They parted ways and found each other again 10 years later when they married and grew this beautiful family. They were truly meant for each other. Their love story has endured the test of time. He now wants the opportunity to grow old with his wife.

The Kirkpatrick family are fighters, and they have been navigating this serious life event with remarkable positivity and courage, but they need your help. Carlton has a lot of life left to live and needs to be there for his kids, see them graduate high school and college, continue to mentor his sons as they become men, and to walk his daughter down the aisle.

Every donation will go towards paying for his treatment, including medication and a vital liver transplant. As you can imagine, it is extremely expensive, as it is one of the most complicated & expensive surgical procedures . Both Leigha and Carlton are self-employed, and without insurance, getting the treatment Carlton needs is a monumental challenge. The Kirkpatricks are up for it, taking it on full steam, but need your help.
