Help The Kilby Family Stay Strong

On Saturday, May 15th, 2021, our great friend Sean Kilby was out doing one of his favorite past times, playing golf.  When he was suddenly struck by a golf ball an inch away from his temple.  He was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit at Baptist hospital in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  Sean suffered a severe brain injury including swelling and bleeding on his brain, with two injured areas.  He currently has extreme speech issues and needs constant assistance with walking.  Doctors believe with his age and good health, they expect a full recovery.  On May 17th, his last two CT scans have shown the bleeding has ceased.  

Kilby, as his friends refer to him as, is one of the most altruist, outgoing, and charitable people you will ever meet.  He is an assistant football coach at Newton-Conover High School.  A devoted follower of Jesus Christ.  A loving husband to Keyla and father of three beautiful children; Reagan, Everleigh, and Lincoln.  And a die-hard Carolina Panthers and UNC Tarheel fan!
