Help the family hurt on Sea to Sky on Sept 5

Dear Donors, Thank you very much for all your kindness and generosity. Together you helped me raise money to help the family who were hurt on the Sea to Sky highway on September 5, 2020 get a safe car. In addition to your donations on Go Fund Me, I also made calls and sent emails to our friends to privately help me. We did it together! I want you to know that both of the children in the car accident were injured but thankfully they are now recovering well. I was very relieved. The RCMP connected me to the family. With good advice from my dad’s friend Todd Coupal who is the Safety Chair for Porsche club of America, I decided to buy the family a Volkswagen certified pre-owned 2017 Volkswagen Golf with a warranty. The Volkswagen dealership sold it to me at cost to help. I raised enough money to buy the car, pay for the taxes and also buy car insurance for the family. The family leased their Toyota Corolla that was destroyed. It is evidence for the RCMP for their investigation. The family won’t get it back because it’s destroyed and all the insurance money for the car will go to Toyota who owns the car and not the family. Because of everyone’s help, the family own this Golf so they can focus on recovering and hopefully have a positive outcome from this terrible accident. I really want the family to enjoy lots of wonderful road trips in it like I enjoy traveling with my parents. I think it’s important for them to know know that our community and I care about them. Thank you very, very much for your help! We achieved this mission together! I’m also trying to bring awareness to drivers to ask them to please drive safe because children ride in our parent’s cars. Our bodies are small and we can get hurt easily.  We are innocent and don’t deserve getting harmed because of dangerous drivers.
