(Dean's FULL story: https://youtu.be/s-IQf_BZ2uM )
I'm Justine, the sister of Jolene who is married to Dean. I’m looking after this page on behalf of Dean and Jolene, I asked their permission to raise funds for them. I would like to share a bit about this beautiful family that had there lives turned upside down in an instant. My sister Jolene and Dean got married back on the 12th July,2014 , Dean is a very hardworking, kind, beautiful person who loves his family so much, especially their beautiful little girl Anastasia who was born on the 12th February 2018. Dean is only 25 years old.
It started off by Dean going to their local GP for a regular check up as he said that he was struggling to swallow solid foods. The GP sent him to do a CT scan. On the very same day the medical center requested Dean to go straight away for his results and that’s when they received the bad news. The GP informed Dean that he had a 16cm by 11cm mass right in the middle of his chest compressing on all his surrounding organs. The GP then sent Dean straight to the Royal Melbourne Hospital so they could do a biopsy straight away. When they took a sample the results came back and we found out that it was cancer.
He got diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. This means that Dean will need intensive Chemotherapy for the next 2-3 years. He may also be needing a bone marrow Transplant pending suitable donor ,somewhere in the near future.
Dean will also require to attend the hospital as an outpatient 3-5 days per week, also has periods of inpatient care ranging from weeks to over a month in duration.
We have created this account respectfully asking for any help, any size donations will be considered extremely generous in aiding to keep the home Dean and Jolene worked so hard to build and assisting in medication payments. Jolene has had to stop work to care for her husband full time and they are starting to struggle to keep up with medical bills and daily expenses. Once again we would like to thank you for reading this story and kindly ask again for any help within your limits.
