Help the Kerns family recover from Woolsey fire.

The Kerns family was one of the 100's of families affected by the Woolsey fire.   On Friday the entire family evacuated their home in the Seminole Springs park with no more than the clothes on their back.  More than half of the homes in their park were completely destroyed.  Miraculously their home survived, but they've learned because of the fire coming within feet of their home most everything inside will most likely be ruined due to smoke.   They are not sure if their home will be inhabitable and the entire park will most likely be condemned.  

The most URGENT issue is their loss of income.  Jeremy is the sole provider for his family of 6.  He owns a pool service business and the majority of his customers are in the effected burn areas (Malibu, Agoura Hills etc.)   Most of Jeremy's customers have lost their homes in the fire, therefore his services are no longer needed and his income is gone.

I am hoping we can raise $40,000 for the Kerns.  This will help cover their lost income for the next  4-6 months, their son Vaughn's speech therapy and doctors visits, and give them peace of mind so they are able to regroup and find new sources of income.

Jeremy and Deana have worked so hard to build their business and raise their 4 children. One of which was born with disabilities and a heart condition.  To see all of their hard work gone in a matter of hours is heartbreaking.

The Kerns family is kind, giving and proud.  In the 20 years that I have known them they have never asked anyone for anything...I know being in this position and asking for help is not easy for them.  Please help me in supporting this wonderful family.
