Help The Keifer’s Fight Cancer
Last week Tracie Keifer woke up with a horrible headache with blurred vision and dizziness. Louis her husband rushed his wife to the emergency room immediately, he knew something was terribly wrong. Tracie had a CAT scan and then an MRI, she was informed that she had 4 tumors; 3 on her brain and one in her lung. They needed to operate to remove one of the tumors on her brain; it was the size of a golf ball. She is now in the ICU and has Stage 4 cancer. Although her speech and most of her motor skills were not affected by the surgery, she still needs physical therapy to walk again. They have not come up with a treatment plan yet, we are all waiting for biopsy results from the tumor that was removed to determine the type of cancer.
Tracie and Louis have been married for 25 years. They have 3 sons; Louie is 23, Joseph is 21 and Gabriel is 17. Joseph and Gabriel have autism and have to be supervised at all times. Tracie always took care of them while Louis worked to provide for his family. With Tracie staying at the hospital and going through treatment Louis had to stop working. This is a very hard time for the whole family, emotionally and financially.
Your support would mean the world to this incredible and strong family. We cannot begin to imagine what the additional medical bills will be. We cannot imagine how Louis and his family are dealing with the recent events when life had already given them so many obstacles to contend with. We, as his work family ask that you help us raise $25,000 to help the Kiefer family during this traumatic and debilitating time in their life. Your donations will help with the care their autistic children so desperately need, and help Louis provide for his family while he is out of work attending to his loving wife.
