The Keates Need Your Help!!

 

Mitchell Keates suffered a horrific accident in early February 2022, colliding with a vehicle on a motorised scooter.

 

Mitch spent two and a half weeks in a medically induced coma due to bleeding on the brain. He is still at the Gold Coast University hospital, thankfully now out of the intensive care ward.

 

Mitch is currently undergoing intense Neurological Rehabilitation and has been progressing well physically. His doctors have advised that he will suffer from ongoing short term memory loss but can’t determine what a full recovery will look like for him, nor do they have a timeframe for his recovery.

 

Mitch is one of the strongest guys I have met, and he will be battling as hard as he can to get home to his two young children and wife Melanie.

 

Without their dad at home, Melanie will struggle with missing Mitch’s presence, help at home and, of course financially, as majority of their rent and expenses are paid out of Mitch’s wage. The family is also having to face struggle of obtaining another rental property, solely on Melanie’s income and small funds from Centrelink, as the place they have called home for the past seven and a half years has recently been sold.

 

The Keates family can really use all the help they can in this time of need, anything you may be able to assist with would be greatly appreciated.

 

Mitch is very much the dedicated father, friend and husband who would always go out of his way to help others. Unfortunately, the time has come that he needs your help.
