I recently got in contact with a shelter in Warsaw that is housing 90 children who have been displaced as a result of the war in Ukraine. Considering the ongoing humanitarian crisis affecting people in Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees in other nations, namely Poland, resources are almost always in short supply. The money raised here will be used to continue sustaining the shelter, and also to spread joy around the world during the holiday seasons, by making sure that no child in these shelters is left without a present. Just a small donation can contribute a huge amount and help dozens of children. Together, we can spread joy into the lives of these children, where happiness is in such short supply. Together, we can make the world a better place.

All the money will be sent directly to the head of the shelter and used to buy presents for kids there. Soon, I'll share reports and pictures of the kids enjoying their presents delivered by you. Custom in Ukraine is for children to get presents from Santa Claus for New Years.

Update: Thank you so much to everybody who donated. We broke our goal of $2,000 and reached $2,570, all of which was sent to the shelter. The extra money was used for food, sweets, and other commodities. The people at the shelter asked my contact in Poland to thank every single person who donated, because every single contribution helped bring happiness to these children.

Honestly, the impact we were making didn't quite hit me until I received all these pictures. It all felt so far away that once I saw the joy on these kids' faces, I really realized everything that this was for, and the difference we were making.
