Help The Kartite family after Eaton Wildfires
Donation protected
On behalf of the Aveson Community Organization we are sharing the story of the Kartite family, who recently faced an unimaginable ordeal. On January 7, 2025, the Eaton fires ravaged through Altadena, and the flames moved swiftly through their neighborhood. Thankfully, Anouar Kartite and Ana Peralta, along with their three children, were able to evacuate safely.
The Kartite family, well-known and cherished by our community, includes first grader Adam, eighth grader Sara, and their eldest, Sofia, who is in her senior year of high school. In the midst of their distress, they found solace when Ana's cousin graciously opened their home to them. Although they have since learned that their home survived the fires, it will require extensive remediation before it's safe to return. Given the scale of destruction, it remains uncertain when the area will be deemed safe for residents.
As the Kartite family embarks on the daunting task of rebuilding their lives, they may need temporary housing and other support. We are kindly asking for your assistance to help this wonderful family during this challenging time. The funds raised will go towards costs not covered by FEMA or insurance policies. Every small contribution can make a significant impact. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated.
