Help the Karaszi Family Reclaim Mom & Grandma Legacy
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Briana, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family as we go through one of the hardest times of our lives. After the recent passing of my beloved grandmother, we’ve found ourselves not only mourning her loss — but also fighting to protect her memory and reclaim her belongings from someone she trusted.
Shortly before or after her passing, my grandmother’s longtime boyfriend wrongfully took possession of many of her personal items — including her vehicle, household belongings, sentimental keepsakes, and possibly even access to private information and accounts. He has refused to return these things, despite having no legal ownership. We've since discovered that he may have tried to transfer ownership of the car and other assets under questionable or fraudulent circumstances.
We are currently in an active probate case to sort through her estate and fight for what is rightfully hers — and ours. We've faced delays, legal fees, and emotional exhaustion as we try to do what my grandmother would have wanted: to preserve her legacy, protect her wishes, and make sure her belongings stay with her family.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Legal representation and probate court fees
Filing fees and investigative costs
Securing her personal property
Funeral and memorial-related expenses
Costs of safely removing and storing her belongings once recovered
We never imagined being in this situation. It's painful to grieve while also having to fight in court just to retrieve the things she left behind. We are determined to see this through — not just for us, but to honor the woman who gave us everything.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us get closer to justice. And if you’re unable to give, please consider sharing our story.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, kindness, and prayers.
With gratitude,
