Help the Kahiga Family with medical expenses

Update…Allan has been finally released from the hospital! We’re asking just 1 more time for some help with the medical expenses. For those that already contributed we can’t thank you enough! In order for him to be released Moses had to secure new housing near the hospital and the family had to give a land deed as collateral. Although he has been released the family has 30 days to pay off the balance or they will refuse future treatment and take the land deed. Anything you can give will help. Hi everyone, we are Kasey and Moses and we are asking for help for Moses' dad Allan Kahiga. He was sent to the hospital 2 weeks ago with a horrible infection in his leg brought on by lack of circulation from his Diabetes. He had 2 toes amputated and we thought that was all that was needed. However this past week he was rushed to the hospital in Nairobi and on Friday 10/27 he had his left leg amputated below the knee. Since Dad is in Kenya, the healthcare system is different and he doesn't have insurance. We are required to pay in full for his treatment before he can be released from the hospital in the next couple of weeks.

Moses will be heading to Kenya this week to spend time with his Dad. Since Allan is from a town over 3 hours away we now also need to help find housing for his continued medical checkups with close proximity to the hospital. This is another expense we are trying to figure out.
