HELP ABDULKARIM KAFARNA SURVIVE A LIFE-THREATENING INJURY
A donation or a share today could help him survive.
Welcome, compassionate soul
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
My name is Melissa, and I’m based in Philadelphia, U.S. For the past almost two years, I’ve been raising funds and securely transferring them to families in Gaza.
Today, I’m asking you to stand with the Kafarna family—19 people from Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza, including seven young children—who are facing forced displacement, hunger, and desperation.
I first met Shawq, the mother of the family, when she reached out seeking support for her grassroots aid organization, the Umm Hafsa Association. She had been distributing food, water, and milk to children in her community—doing incredible, selfless work during impossible times. Sadly, she had to stop due to lack of funding, and now her own family is in urgent need. We hope she’ll be able to return to that work once they’re safely relocated.
Below is the Kafarna family’s message in their own words.
The Kafarna family lived in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza. Before the war escalated, their life was calm and steady. Each member had their own routine — work, university, school. They dreamed of a future filled with their children’s laughter and safety.
They initially started this campaign for the entire family but have decided to focus instead on AbdulKarim.
Abdelkarim, one of Gaza’s brave sons, was injured during the war and is now unable to work. His family of five is living in extremely difficult conditions without a provider.
We appeal to kind-hearted people to be a support for Abdelkarim and his children—every bit of help, no matter how small, can make a huge difference.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever relieves a Muslim from a hardship of this world, Allah will relieve him from a hardship on the Day of Judgment.” Please help ease the suffering of Abdelkarim’s family—those who guide to good are as those who do it.
They appeal to everyone with a kind heart to lend a helping hand. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in their lives and in their children’s lives. AbdulKarim and the Kafarna family hope to find safety and comfort soon and to restore a dignified life.
