Help The Judy Chops Grow!

The Judy Chops have been working hard for almost 15 years now. This Summer is going to be super busy, with some HUGE festivals in or schedule including Red Wing Roots Music Festival , Floydfest , Front Porch Fest , & Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion . We are even heading to Ohio for the Ohio Paw Paw Festival in September. Unfortunately our beloved 'Egg Van' was totaled this Winter, so we need a new vehicle. This is a major piece of the puzzle for us, because a better vehicle means better shows, and with an 8 piece band, we need a pretty large van! We have toured up and down the East Coast for the past 14 years, and we were just beginning to break into some larger markets like NYC, and Nashville prior to the shutdown. With a quality vehicle we can expand our touring radius, and bring the love to more friends and fans far and wide!
Never resting on our laurels, we also started our own production company this year! We believe whole-heartedly in our Virginia music scene, so our first major event will be resurrecting Staunton Jams in our beautiful hometown of Staunton, VA! This day of music, art, food, and more will feature over 20 acts at a variety of venues throughout our fair city on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, plus we are looking at a follow up event this fall, and have plans for a larger production in 2023.
Finally, we are working on finishing up an album called 'The Good Days' that is almost two years in the making. We were able to release 3 singles last year, and have paid for most of the recording time, but we need an influx of money to help finish the recording, pay for artwork, manufacturing, vinyl, and more! The sooner we can get the funds together for this album, the sooner we can get our new music out to YOU! A new album also means new merchandise!! You know you'll look good in your new Chops Tee, blasting that new album!!
Usually we would tour throughout the year and use the windfall from Summer touring to help offset costs for the following year, but in the wake of the pandemic, we haven't had the opportunity to save and budget for all of these projects. We have been putting back as much as we can from each show in 2022, but we are far from what we need. It's not an easy thing to ask for money. We've always worked hard to make opportunities happen, but with a minimal schedule last year, and no shows in 2020, we just barely got by. Your support will carry us through the rest of this year, and help us get prepared for an even bigger year in 2023! We can't do it without you!
