As many in the Enterprise area have seen, a precious family—Charles & Stephanie Jones, pastors of Loves Way Church—lost their dream in a tragic fire today. Their beloved petting zoo, which brought joy to so many, was destroyed along with all the animals they cared for with such passion. Stephanie loved hosting parties and being there for the community, always opening her heart and home to others. This was her dream, and she made it a reality through hard work and dedication. I remember the day we talked about it, and how excited she was to share her love for animals with everyone.

The Jones family’s petting zoo was their only source of income, and sadly, they did not have insurance to help them recover from this loss. Now, they are facing the heartbreaking task of cleaning up after the fire and trying to figure out how to move forward. The road ahead will not be easy, but I know how much this community cares.
