So last summer my oldest daughter and her husband, whose jobs were both affected by the epidemic, moved from San Diego to west FL where his parents live. They decided to make a cross country expedition out of it, visiting family and seeing the sights… As they were driving through west TX they were unfairly targeted, pulled over, arrested and put in a solitary situation for 2 days with their dogs being sent to a shelter and everything they own in their car in an impound yard!  Please understand that NEITHER of them have ever had one day of legal or any other trouble... and most importantly they are BOTH disabled vets who suffer from PTSD from their service so you can only imagine how terrifying and traumatic this experience must have been for them (dogs included )!

Now... as they’re trying to start life over in a new town, they’re seriously overwhelmed by legal fees to fight the charges and avoid unnecessary and ridiculous, lifelong legal ramifications… Obviously with my recent health issues and being on disability myself, I am unable to give them substantial financial assistance but there is something I CAN do!!  I’m asking for help.  Realizing it’s a tough time for everyone with Covid, unemployment as it is, I’m asking if you’re able to help, please do.... I figure I have 1000 friends so even $5 could add up fast! These are really hard-working, awesome young adults who DO NOT deserve this mess!
