Help the Johnson family with Rhema’s medical bills

Hi everyone! I’m Melissa, friend of the Johnson family. On December 19th, a mirror fell on Rhema and Loretta. It shattered and unfortunately Rhema was injured by the glass shards. They were rejected by their local hospital and took an ambulance to Mayo in Rochester. Rhema was admitted to pediatric trauma and had about a dozen x rays and a CT scan. The team there removed many glass shards, big and small from her back. We are all thanking God that her spinal cord was not impacted at all. She does have a fractured vertebrae. She ended up going home the next day. She is recovering well at home now, managing pain with over the counter measures and a prophylactic antibiotic to prevent infection.

I am creating this page for the Johnson family to help them get through some of the many medical bills that will be coming their way. We are unsure yet what the total cost will be from everything but they do not have health insurance so every little bit from friends and family can help.

They are an amazing family and they need community during this difficult time. Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ and pray and support them.
