Help the Johnson Family Rebuild After Devastating House Fire
Donation protected
On April 28th, 2025, the Johnson family's world was turned upside down when a fire tore through their home in Henderson, KY. What began as a fan malfunction quickly escalated, destroying much of the house and nearly all of their belongings. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they’re now faced with the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch.
The Johnsons have been part of the Henderson community for generations. Kristie worked for the local school system, and Shaun is a dedicated welder. Their sons, Gage and Dylan, both graduated from Henderson County High School and grew up surrounded by the people they now need more than ever. Gage is a passionate musician who lost not only his home, but also his entire music studio. Dylan has battled serious heart issues since birth and has undergone multiple open-heart surgeries.
This is a family that has always given to others. Today, they need that same care and generosity in return.
Every donation, big or small, will help the Johnsons with temporary housing, basic necessities, and the long road to rebuilding. Insurance will help, but it won’t come close to replacing everything they’ve lost.
If you’re able, please consider donating. If you can’t donate right now, simply sharing this page can help us reach others who can.
Let’s show the Johnson family that they’re not alone, and that our community stands behind them.
