Help the Johnson family in this difficult times

Hi, I had the honored to know and work with Dr. Joshua Johnson. He was one of the Resident Physicians at our UAMS Family Medicine program.

Joshua was one of the most selfless and caring human beings that I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.

He is one of the heroes that we know as a “Frontline Care Worker”, during this pandemic that we have all been fighting through.

Joshua was taken from us far too soon. On December 28th, 2021 Joshua passed away from natural causes, at Washington Regional Medical Center ICU in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is the unit where Joshua has seen and treated countless patients. Giving selflessly of his time, emotion and entire being.

Joshua was still in the middle of his residency training at the time of his passing. He had 1.5 years until he was to finish. He had such a bright future ahead of him. This is a devastating loss to us, his work family, as well as to his biological family and all of those close to him.

I’m starting this go fund me page to provide some much-needed relief to his family during this heartbreaking time.

Joshua leaves behind a five-year-old daughter, Zella. We are hoping that this go fund me page can go toward her college as well as his funeral costs and medical school debt.
