Help the John Shaver family with funeral expenses

Hi my name is Jennifer Chism. I am a very close family friend of the Shavers. On Tuesday, January 18th John unexpectedly passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. He leaves behind a wife of 50 years Carla, a son Chris, daughter Candi and his little Midgy, granddaughter Karlee. Unfortunately, John did not have life insurance. I am hoping to help them with his final medical and funeral expenses.

John was a US Navy veteran. He owned and operated Shaver Auto Sales for over 45 years. After his retirement he enjoyed his last 8 years working at Precision Car Wash in Ottawa. If John wasn't at work you could often find him on the golf course. The golf course was one of his favorite places to be. He was a devoted husband, father and grampy. He always put his family first and took great care of them.

The Shavers have been a lifelong part of our community. The great thing about small communities is we help each other when they need us. Your help is greatly appreciated.
