Late Friday evening, December 19th, the Jensen family experienced every parent’s worst nightmare. In the middle of the night, a fast-moving fire swept through their home. While we are eternally grateful that Jamie, Ian, their two young children (Jozie and August), and their pets made it out safely, the devastation left behind is absolute.
For years, Jamie and Ian dreamed of finding their forever home. Just under 2 years ago, that dream came true. They spent the last couple of years pouring their hearts into making it the perfect home for their family. It wasn't just a building; it was their sanctuary, located exactly where they wanted to raise their kids.
In a single night, the life they spent years building vanished.
The Jensens have lost everything. Beyond the structural loss of their home, they have lost their furniture, their clothing, their food, and the Christmas gifts that were waiting under the tree for Jozie and August.
We are reaching out to our friends, family, and the incredible Duluth community to help them pick up the pieces. Our goal is to provide them with the immediate stability they need to navigate this tragedy.
No donation is too small. If you aren't able to give financially, please consider sharing this page with your network. The Jensen family is known for their kindness in the community; now, it’s our turn to show up for them.
Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and for helping this family start over.
