Lance and Paige Jenkins, as well as their daughters Gracie and Linsey, found their lives completely turned upside down as the Jenkins' home was completely flooded and most of their possessions destroyed due to Hurricane Helene. Lance also lost all of his pet chickens and was forced to watch the water rise above his chicken coup as he was unable to reach them before the water forced him to seek higher ground. From there he watched as his home and the homes of his father and friends around him were destroyed. Lance is a loving husband, father, and friend. Throughout this tragedy, he has been nonstop helping his neighbors as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives. Unfortunately, none of the damage is covered by insurance, and they will be responsible for covering all of the repairs themselves. We ask you to please help Lance and Paige during this time as they have helped countless others during their times of need.
P.S. My name is Nathan Hastings and I would like to add a personal anecdote. I have known Lance and Paige for several years now, and they are the nicest people, willing to help anyone at a moment’s notice. When my daughter was born last March she spent 10 days in the NICU, where Paige works as a nurse. During this time, Lance and Paige went above and beyond to help us during a time in our lives when we were scared, exhausted, and helpless to do anything to help our baby girl. The peace of mind and support that they gave during this time is a debt that we could never repay. Lance and Paige are the best friends anyone could have. I ask you to please help them in their time of need, because I know that they helped myself and countless others during ours.
I, Nathan Hastings, will ensure that these funds are provided to Lance and Paige for the use of rebuilding their lives following the impact of Hurricane Helene to their lives.
