Help The Jellicles Stay Afloat
Donation protected
My name is Wren Ivy Jellicle, and i am raising money because I and my family's housing situation is in danger. our house is an intentional living space; we use our home as not only a literal roof over our heads, but as a safe place to rest, reciwver and deal with the constant barrage of violence and oppression myself and my family deals with as black trans people.
Our family has always struggled to survive in an oppressive system that was not made for us, but with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our struggles only worsened, as nearly our entire house lost employment, and are (for the most part) ineligible for unemployment and other relief funds. I myself am immunocompromised, and thusly cannot safely work during this time. As a result, we have been unable to pay our bills and rent, and they have been piling up. We are trying to raise $3000 to pay off our gas and electric bills, and $5000 to pay off all our back rent owed.
Every dollar donated goes towards helping a black trans family stay housed and out of debt, and means the world to us! No amount folks can spare is too small, and we thank you all so much for reading this (and hopefully) for your help! If you aren't able to donate (or if you are), please share this gofundme campaign if you are able!
