In the overnight hours, the Jarrett's house was struck by lightning and caught on fire. Thankfully, they were out of town for the holiday weekend, so everyone is safe and uninjured. Many people know this family as Holly is a well-known and loved teacher at a Carmel school, and Casey is involved in coaching their kids' sports teams.

Unfortunately, there is major fire, smoke, and water damage to their home. The main damage impacted their three children's bedrooms, so there are a lot of things to be replaced for the children. Obviously, we hope insurance will be able to replace some of their belongings, but some family items are irreplaceable. Our amazing community is so generous and caring, and many have reached out asking how to help. While they are currently working on a path forward, the long-term plan is somewhat unknown, so we wanted to provide a way to help this wonderful family with the financial burden in the immediate future.
