On April 18, Michael was injured in a fall down a flight of stairs while attending an event in Huntsville with one of his sons. He suffered multiple broken ribs, a fractured scapula, and a punctured lung, among other painful injuries.
He spent the first couple of days in a Huntsville ICU receiving care, and this past Saturday he was able to be transferred closer to home to Erlanger. Since then, he has undergone surgeries to stabilize his ribs and support his lung recovery. At this point, there is no clear timeline for when he will be released, as it will depend on how his recovery progresses.
Many of you know Michael and Heather as people who consistently care for and support others. Right now, they are facing a season where they could use that same kind of support. With Michael unable to work for an unknown period of time, and Heather focusing on his care and their family, there will be added financial strain in the weeks ahead.
If you feel led to give, any contribution would help ease the burden of medical expenses and daily needs during this time. If you’re not able to give, your prayers and encouragement are also deeply appreciated.
Thank you for supporting the Jacksons!
