Help the Jackmans Rebuild from Cyclones Zelia's devastation
Donation protected
Hi everyone - On February 14, 2025, Cyclone Zelia, a Category 4 storm, tore through Western Australia’s Pilbara region, leaving destruction in its wake. Carlindie Station, located 75 km southeast of Port Hedland, was devastated, and station managers Kellie and Bill Jackman, along with their 3 children, lost everything they owned.
A huge thankyou to Terry who employ the Jackmans who will cover the loss of most of their personal effects. Everything else is covered by insurance. Thanks to Kings, The walk about for the caravan, Barry Taylor and the Wainwright family for getting it out there, KingKira Group for the vehicle, Pilbara Minerals, Pilgangoora for the sparkies, Wildcat Resources for the comms, Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA for the cleanup efforts and all those who have reached out to help ABC Pilbara.
What They Need
As a community we are seeking $15,000 to help Kellie and Bill to help with their immediate needs as insurance claims of this magnitude can take several months.
Carlindie Station is more than just a workplace—it’s their home, livelihood, and community. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping this hardworking family get back on their feet.
How You Can Help
No donation is too small—every contribution will help them rebuild what was lost. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign to spread the word and support the Jackman family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping this amazing family through this devastating time.
