For 30 years, the Istanbul Church of Christ has been a small but resilient community of disciples seeking to live out their faith in Türkiye. Planted in 1996 by a team of disciples from several countries, the church grew through years of friendship, sacrifice, and a shared commitment to building a spiritual community at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Over those three decades, the church has experienced seasons of growth as well as significant challenges and transitions, while relationships formed through the original mission team have continued across borders and generations. As we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the church's founding this summer, July 2026, former missionaries, friends, and leaders from the Middle East and Europe reconnected with the disciples in Türkiye, for a time of celebration and an opportunity to listen, encourage, strengthen relationships, and help the church imagine what its next chapter might look like.

We would love for you to join us in standing with the Istanbul Church of Christ in prayer, encouragement, and support as God continues to write the next chapter. Please pray for the Istanbul Church of Christ and all the disciples in Türkiye. If this story inspires you and you would like to partner in what God is doing there, please consider contributing to the mission through this GoFundMe campaign. Your generosity can help encourage the church, support future ministry efforts, and help more people in Türkiye become disciples.
