Hello, my name is Regina, my husband Alex is Kory's brother and Coley has become, not only my sister in law, but my best friend. Coley went in for a routine surgery two weeks ago but has since been into the ER three separate times with post surgery complications. The past two times she went in with life threatening bleeding which resulted in two separate surgeries to correct. She has had NINE blood transfusions in the last three days and thankfully is finally stable, although we still don't know when she is going to be able to come home from the hospital.

This last surgery has resulted in the doctors giving Coley a list of restrictions that, due to her being a paramedic, will cause her to be unable to work for the next 3 months.

This is a family who has dedicated their lives to helping others, they are both volunteer firefighters and EMTs. They have done so much for their community, their friends and their family. They have hearts of gold and are constantly helping not only anyone that asks for help but those they believe need it. Coley's sweet self is always trying to make everyone know they are loved and appreciated and I'm hoping that we are able to repay all of those favors during their time of need.

They have 6 children, 5 of whom live in their home along with their 4 pups, so bills will be tight with Coley unable to work in the upcoming weeks. She will require bedrest and need Kory home as much as possible. I'm hoping their wonderful community will be able to help lift some of their burden so Kory and his family are able to concentrate more on Coley and her healing.
