Our dear friends and neighbors, the Indurkars, have experienced the unexpected and tragic loss of Aditi's mother, Dr. Anupama Vaidya. Dr. Vaidya was taking her daily walk through Creekside Park when heavy rainfall struck, causing flash flooding along the trails. She was unable to return home to her family. The Indurkar family is grieving while also working to arrange memorial services. Aditi is currently a full-time student at the UMKC School of Dentistry, earning her U.S. DDS degree, and her husband, Dhananjay (Jay), a software engineer, has been actively pursuing employment after unexpected layoffs cut his career short last year. Aditi and Jay have two children at home, Myra (8) and Aayush (14), who are experiencing the sudden and tragic loss of their grandmother.
