Help The Idyllwild Dog whisperer!!!

Christmas is supposed to be the spirit of giving, especially on Tuesday, November 29th, when donations are given to local charities. But what did my father receive? He received a letter of termination after 14 devoted years at his job.

My Dad’s name is Edgar Santiago, and he provided services of dog grooming, dog training, and rescuing animals from local animal shelters to provide them a forever home and a second chance. When the timing came, he even assisted families with the loss of their pets; he is a savior in their eyes when their days are darkest. So to hear my father’s voice the day that he called me to give me the news of his termination broke my heart, and it hurts even more that my brother, who is the most genuine person I’ve ever known, was also given a termination letter at the same time at the same job. They were given two weeks to move out, but how can a family move within two weeks after living in a home for 14 years?

As the daughter of Edgar Santiago, I found it in myself to provide and give back to my parents and help them find a new home to move to. And how would I describe my Dad? Well, he is the same guy who would save an animal at the side of the road and do whatever it takes to bond with them and give them a second chance. He loves animals, a passion! Because of his love for animals, He is called in the town of Idyllwild the Dog Whisperer!

The fundraiser's mission is for my family and finding a home with enough space to obtain a kennel license and continue rescuing dogs and providing services to the community. So any amount is welcome to the fund and is greatly appreciated! Any kind words, prayers, and thoughts are encouraged through this challenging time for my family.
