Hi All,

I'm Stephen Lenz, and I'm raising funds to support the work of Humane Society Silicon Valley. Thanks to them, we found our two foster failures, Monkey and Bunny, pictured above. They have been a huge part of our life and have brought us tons of joy in our day to day, amidst getting along very well with our dog, Jessi, and other cat, Jango!

The reason for the motivation behind this for me stems from the fire that happened just over a year ago at the clinic. No animals or people were hurt, very fortunately, yet they are still in recovery mode from this incident. I am grateful for this and figured it would be nice to provide some relief that is continuously needed in keeping this non-profit alive and well, combined with easing even just a small amount of pressure that can be felt in such hard times.

Your donation will directly impact the lives of countless animals in need out here in the Bay Area, playing a small part in providing care and love around the holidays. The donation goes towards:

Providing food, medical treatment, and shelter for rescued animals.

Supporting community programs that help families keep their pets during difficult times.

Any and all donations would greatly be appreciated for this cause and I will be doing the Rapha 500 (Riding 500 km from December 24-31) with the intent of raising $500 for this cause, at a minimum!

I will lead by donating myself too on top of it all and encourage you to show appreciation where you can with any cause that matters to you around the holiday season.
