Help the Huangs to see family in Taiwan

Hi, my name is Angela.

Many of you know that I lost my mom about two years ago in October. I didn’t get to say goodbye to her in person, I haven’t been able to visit home since then due to my pending green card application and also I had a newborn.

兩年前的十月我媽媽過世，因為當時孩子剛滿月，我也還在申請綠卡和等待綠卡，所以沒有能夠見到媽媽最後一面，至今也還沒有機會能夠回去台灣。

Recently, my family in Taiwan told me that they were asked unexpectedly to move out from our childhood home. They need to be out of the house by the end of October. This requires me to go to 1.) move all my childhood stuff that I didn’t bring to America 2.) help sort and move my mom’s belongings in the house.

最近，我在台灣的家人告知我，我們需要在十月底前搬家，搬離我長大的家。而我需要儘快回家幫忙整理媽媽的遺物以及把我之前沒有帶來美國的東西也整理、寄到美國。

Eddie and I prayed and felt peace about going as a family this time. Thankfully with the travel permit that we applied for, I should be able to travel abroad while waiting on my green card application. However, because of the move is unexpected, we are asking for help with finances.

我和Eddie禱告之後，兩人心中都有平安覺得還是應該一家人一起回台灣。幸好之前和綠卡一起申請的旅行證件已經拿到，我可以在等待綠卡的過程中進出美國。但是因為搬家事出突然，我們雖然有在存錢準備日後回台灣探親，但還沒存到足夠的錢。如今藉由這個網站，我們尋求社群的幫助。

We are in need of finances to cover our planes tickets (for the 3 of us, yes, 2 year old needs his own ticket now), to stay in Taipei city, and moving expenses for me to ship things to America. We have saved some, but still not enough to cover what we need.

經濟上的需求包含了三張來回機票（因為超過兩歲的小孩需要自己的座位了）、在台北短租一個月的住處、還有寄包裹/行李回美的開銷。

I want to say thank you for all my friends who kindly shared their hearts and care towards us. It’s been a quite dramatic journey over the past few years for me. I can only testify that His grace is sufficient.

I’m praying that this move will be smooth, and we will get to see families in Taiwan!

這些年來我經歷了幾個人生的大起大落，我很感謝陪伴我的家人朋友，許多人善心的幫助讓我感受溫情以及上帝的恩典。謝謝很多人的關心和支持。
