There are no words to describe the feelings when you receive the news of terminal cancer. I was there the day my mom got her stage four ovarian diagnosis. For the past two years, she has been fiercely fighting this horrible disease. I’ve witnessed her go through the chemo, the losing of all her hair, the weight loss from 130 to 70lbs, the days where she can’t even eat, the hospitalizations, the days of vomiting, and the months of being bedridden. She was determined to fight and buy us more time until the very last breath. Today, she left us. Our hearts are broken. We love her and miss her dearly.
