My name is Rachel Jacobs and I am a friend of the Hoyte family. They just got the shocking news that Russell needs Open Heart Surgery. I am organizing this GoFundMe to help support them during his recovery.

Recently, Russell did some pre-tests for a knee surgery and the doctors discovered severe heart issues that require Open-Heart Surgery on Tuesday, February 20th. This was sudden news and an unexpected shock for their family! The good news is firstly, that insurance is covering the surgery and secondly, this discovery is life-saving. They are very grateful for this!

However, the surgery requires about 4 months of recovery and Russell will be unable to work and bring in the necessary finances to cover their monthly bills.

The GoFundMe funds will be used to cover half of their monthly bills, which is approximately $2500 per month for four months, which Jeannine projects to be unable to cover. The goal is to raise $10,000 in this campaign!
