Help the Howdys while Jesse's on the road to recovery!
Donation protected

For those who don't know me personally, my name is Tanya Martinez and I am Jesse Houdeshell's big sister.
As some of you are aware, Jesse was hospitalized and admitted to the ICU at St. Alphonsus in Boise, Idaho on Friday, October 4th with severe breathing problems, a fully collapsed right lung, pneumonia, and heart failure. He was in the ICU for 11 days and hospitalized for a total of 18. He was discharged home on the 22nd with a PICC line (a semi-permanent IV) and is receiving infusions and therapy from some awesome home health nurses daily.
Jess and his family are so happy to finally have him home!! Unfortunately however, with his continuing heart and lung issues he is not out of the woods yet and has a long recovery ahead of him to get back to some type of normal.
Due to the intense nature of his medical conditions, Jesse has been unable to work since September and with the extensive recovery period he now faces, he will need to remain off work for the foreseeable future. Being sick or injured with a long recovery ahead is already stressful enough, but being stuck in a position where you're unable to work to help support your family is another thing altogether. Jesse's wife Megan is a rockstar and has been doing her all to hold everything together, working and taking care of their 3 boys, but the fact is that her time is also now restricted as she is the primary caretaker for Jess at home.
Many have been asking if there is anything they can do to help, so I've created this GoFundMe account so that those who are able and wish to make a financial donation to help the family cover basic living expenses during this time can do so. Jesse and Megan are both adamant that NO ONE feels pressured to donate, and that everyone knows how much their continued love, support, and prayers have meant to them and strengthened them over the last month.
