**Bring Le Jardin du Moulin Glamping to Life in Normandy **

Hello and welcome,

We’re the founders of Le Jardin du Moulin — a dream growing from our home: a historic watermill nestled in the peaceful countryside of Normandy.

Surrounded by green fields, flowing streams, and meadows alive with wildlife — deer, owls, herons, hares, and even a visiting kingfisher — this is a place of calm, beauty, and quiet magic.

Every day, we’re reminded how special this land is, and our dream is simple:

**to share it with others.**

Our Vision

We are creating a peaceful glamping retreat where guests can slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature.

Le Jardin du Moulin will be a place for couples and families to:

• Relax and unwind

• Enjoy nature and the outdoors

• Experience the beauty and tranquility of rural life

Our goal is to create something authentic — a welcoming space built with care, respect for the environment, and a love of nature.

Why We Started This Fundraiser

When we first launched this fundraiser, we set a goal of **£2,400** as an initial milestone — a realistic and achievable starting point to help us begin preparing the land and taking the first practical steps toward our dream.

Rather than waiting for everything to be perfect, we wanted to start building momentum and show that progress was possible.

That first goal represents the foundation of the journey.

️ What We’ve Been Working On

Thanks to your support and encouragement, we haven’t stood still.

We have already begun transforming the space, step by step. Recently, we have:

• Started clearing a walking path for future guests to explore and enjoy

• Begun creating a peaceful seating and picnic area with beautiful countryside views

• Continued preparing the land for our future glamping spaces

• Invested time, energy, and care into shaping this vision day by day

These may seem like small steps, but they are the real beginnings of something meaningful.

Every path cleared and every space prepared brings us closer to welcoming our first guests.

What Comes Next

Our focus now is to continue developing the glamping area and creating a safe, welcoming environment for visitors.

This includes:

• Expanding the walking paths and outdoor spaces

• Preparing areas for future guest accommodation

• Improving the landscape and guest experience

• Building the foundations for the next stage of the project

We are moving forward steadily, one step at a time.
