I am reaching out to the local coachella valley community on behalf of the best little dive bar this side of heaven, the Hood Bar and Pizza. First of all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support over the past 8 years, almost 9 of drag queen bingo!

I think our staff is amazing and I could not say more about my boss and founder of the show, Brad guth!

Many of you might have noticed that Brad has really not been cohosting the show since last fall. He was diagnosed with serious foot and knee issues and after many months of treatment and medication, in was supposed to have surgery on his knee, and his feet this summer. He chose not to. His original intent was to close the bar for the summer. He did not want to disrupt our shows or staff, and wanted to keep loyal guests satusfied. However, he is unable to keep up with daily demands of the Hood. Brad would never ask for help, so I am doing it on his behalf. When I had a serious accident several years ago, he was there, raising money for me and my family. I have started this go fund me on behalf of the Hood. Brad has been out for a few weeks getting new direction and as he attends to his medical issues we all want to make sure the Hood stays alive and well. I am asking you to donate whatever you can to put all of us at ease in this difficult time. We are setting an immediate goal of $8000 and hope and pray we can reach it quickly!!! The Hood depends on your love and support and we have enjoyed that over the last 10 years.
