Meet The Holden Family.

Cassie, Josh, Garrett, and Thomas.

They are in need of financial assistance as they try to comprehend how they will move on from the inevitable loss of their unborn child, Thomas.

Thomas has been diagnosed with a lethal and rare skeletal disorder, which means that he will not be compatible with life.

You can imagine how devastating this would be and can understand that Cassie needed to take some personal time to be with her family to process this news and make some difficult decisions before she could face the world of “Congratulations”, belly rubs, and well wishes.

Unfortunately this has cut into her time off after the baby.

My sister, who gives herself selflessly everyday to care for others, is the main provider for her family at this time.

Josh was unfortunately laid off a year and a half ago and has been continuing his education full time(Graduating in December) while caring for their 2 year old child, creating beautiful wood pieces, and cutting lawns to help bring in some income.

In a few short weeks, providing Thomas can hang on, the family will have as little as a few short minutes to hours with their baby.

As if all of this isn’t enough, Josh was informed that he cannot hold off on an upcoming surgery scheduled for early October for a torn rotator cuff and torn bicep. He will be down for 3-4 months.

The stress they are feeling is an understatement.

Our goal is to help them get through the next month stress free so they can enjoy the time they have left with Thomas. Knowing they can take care of any end of life expenses, take the time they need to mourn and heal, and ease the stress of financial loss over the next few months, would be beyond their wishes.
