Let's support the Hokamp Family with both our prayers and our funds. Betsy was recently diagnosed with cancer and undergoes surgery in Madison on September 3rd. Please pray that the surgeon is able to remove all the cancer through surgery and that continued treatment will be avoided!

"WE CAN DO IT!!

As the kids head back to school, I begin a journey of my own. Recently, I was diagnosed with cancer. I've always heard "cancer" swirl around me, but never thought it would happen to me. But here I am, cancer diagnosis, waiting for what's next.

Sam and I are here to ask for your prayers again. We know that the Lord is with us through this journey, and the Lord has already answered some of our prayers. But the journey isn't over. I have surgery scheduled for September 3. The possibility of chemo still looms. I know that I can't do this by myself. God is with me. And this village - I need you! We can do it!

I'm grateful for all the family and friends who have already reached out to help, whether it's helping to watch our kids when I'm at an appointment, bringing dinner, praying rosaries for me, praying with your families for me, or the many other ways you have reached out. Thank you doesn't quite capture how grateful I am, but it's the best I can do right now.

I'm also grateful for my team of doctors who have already moved mountains to have me seen and seen quickly. I'm grateful that they listened to my concerns, especially as a young female.

We are asking for the intercession of Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli, a priest on his way to sainthood.
