Help The Hogan's Rebuild Their Home

Hello, I'm Amanda and I'm raising funds to help my best friend Melanie and her husband Jason after their recent unexpected emergency that destroyed their home. After a trip home to see family for Christmas- Illinois for Melanie and Missouri for Jason, they came home to utter devastation. As they walked in the door they saw their home destroyed. Water pouring everywhere, puddled everywhere, the ceiling was in the floor, insulation had fallen down everywhere, sheetrock was everywhere, not a room in the house wasn't impacted. While gone to visit family the pipes had frozen and burst in the attic, causing a horrible spiral of events in their home they knew nothing about while away. They have had such a hard time working with insurance in this short time. The whole house will need to be gutted and rebuilt, they will need to live elsewhere for an unknown amount of time. So many unexpected costs already have come from their savings account and it's drained them. A water bill came in at over $700, 10 times more than usual. So many upfront costs have taken their breath away. They are told by insurance they have to pay for the plumbing out of pocket. As I said earlier their family lives in other states, so while they are navigating through this horrible emergency they do not have family close by to rely on. Melanie and Jason are the most selfless people you could meet and love to help and encourage others. My heart has broken they are going through this and having to face so many unknowns daily. I'm asking for you to please help them as they have to rebuild everything and start fresh. Anything you can give will be a blessing to the Hogans. Mostly, please pray for them as they navigate this process. Pray that God will continue to give them strength and peace that everything will fall into place with insurance and contractors as they rebuild their home.
