Help the Hofheimer Family Fight Cancer

On January 22 we received the devastating news that our baby boy Dexter has a brain tumor. Since then, we've had countless doctors' visits, multiple ER trips, three emergency surgeries, PICU stays, completed a six week radiation treatment, and hoping to qualify for a clinical trial, but most of all, praying for a miracle every single day. 

Dexter is a beautiful, loving, caring, energetic, and happy 9 year old who always thinks of others before himself. His contagious smile and selfless acts of kindness affect everyone he meets. He loves to wrestle and play with his older brother Dashiel, and skate, fish, surf, and spend time outdoors with his family. Sadly, all of it has been robbed by this aggressive cancer. 

We have been unable to work since January so we can take care of Dexter. We will also be losing our employer-covered health insurance this month. 

This fundraiser was started to help our family deal with the financial strain that comes with the cancer diagnosis. We would sincerely appreciate your financial support during this already very difficult journey. Thank you to everyone for the support and many prayers we received thus far.
