Help the Hocker Family after tragic home shooting

Hi family and friends,

Myself Sharlain, Husband Joey and 5 yr old Daughter moved back to San Lorenzo Village after serving both in the Military (Marines, Air Force)

As my husband is born and raised here, we decided to be closer to family and made the move 5 years ago.

On Monday March 11th at 3:30am our family tragically was awoken to thieves attempting to steal our vehicle, then opened rapid fire from an AR and AK aiming at my husband, our home and vehicles. 31 casings were found and picked up as evidence.

My husband’s hellcat is totaled, my vehicle has 15k worth of repairs and our home has suffered damages beyond belief. But we are safe and not injured. Other some scrapes and shrapnel in my husbands arm..Thank god

We are asking for financial help to rebuild our home, furniture, belongings and insurance deductibles but most important mental health help for my 5 year old daughter that was woken up to a bullet on the floor next to her. Loud pops are scaring her, she is not her normal bubbly self and definitely doesn’t want to be away from her parents.
