Help the Hinsey’s
Donation protected
UPDATE: Surgery is done to remove her spleen and the procedure went well!!! Prayers that this does the trick! Thank you all for your generous donations. It brings me to tears the outpouring love and support you guys have given this family!
As many of you know, Cassie Hinsey (Coffer) was diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia. It is a rare red blood cell disorder that occurs when antibodies directed against a person's own red blood cells cause them to burst, leading to insufficient concentration in the blood. Cassie battled this at a younger age but it was fortunately fixed. As time has gone on it has gotten worse. She is currently sedated and ventilated and her body is fighting her biggest fight. The next plan of attack is to remove her spleen which will hopefully help her numbers but because her body is so weak it’s going to be a tough surgery.
She is such a strong, smart, and generous person to her family and the community. At this time we are asking for any donations to help with bills and whatever expenses may come up as both Cassie and her husband, Shawn are not working. She has 3 beautiful children who miss their mom dearly and we want to give them one less thing to worry about when Cassie wins this battle.
