On Tuesday evening, a fire tore through Missy and Andrew’s apartment building in Ottawa, damaging their home and forcing them to have to relocate. 

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but the smoke and water caused irreparable damage to some of their belongings - clothes, furniture, keepsakes, and daily essentials.

They’re now faced with the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives and figuring out where they’ll be able to live.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

• Emergency housing and temporary accommodations

• Groceries, toiletries, and other day-to-day needs

• Longer-term recovery and stability
