On July 7, a fire caused devastating damage to most of our home, deeming many of our items unsalvageable. No one was home at the time of the fire, and all our pets were safely recovered. A second fire started 6 hours after the initial fire and caused much more severe damage to our second floor. Many of our photos, valuables, keepsakes, and clothes have been lost. We were able to recover some shirts and sweatshirts, but we don't have any long pants or shoes. We've lost all our toiletries, cleaning supplies, kitchenware, games, and furniture and have spent the past 24 hours searching through what remains of our home and trying to recover what we can. Anything at this time helps, any clothes, extra house supplies, or even food your family won't eat before it expires can make things a little easier for us.
